Verse Design LA assisted Southland Health Center, a non-profit organization that provides community medical services, with a feasibility and maximum building area analysis. We explored an array of supportive community programing to vitalize the center and identifying the opportunities for expanded community space.  Studies also heavily considered the phased approach required for the development to maintain ongoing services. The project involves a Reciprocal Easement Agreement (REA) among the surrounding parcel holders for shared resources such as parking and site circulation.

 

Verse Design LA was engaged to provide a broad spectrum of services to include coordination with and of local authorities, application and adjustment of the REA, lead role in interface with city planning department, programming, building massing analysis, parking requirements, and budget. Three viable layouts & massing schemes were developed for the organization to leverage while considering their expansion and fundraising efforts.
